~Make-Up On The Set~

Sometimes you have to think outside the box ;)  I have found that if make up is good enough for your face why not your art work :D yep it works!!
I have mostly used Avon products; the new smoker eye shadow, mineral eye shadow in earth matt colors, pencils for eyebrows, mineral erco brushes.  They are less costly as will. This is just an example of techniques and mediums used on a mini Nahar.

~Crazy Close* Eli*

After some unexpected time away I was able to get back to finishing the prep & prim on Eli, Yippy!
That hurtle is complete, next is color for the free spirit. Eli's start to finish photo journal will follow as will. Including some closely guarded tips on customing a free flowing mane.

*Dove w/ Dapples*

Been working on this little custom for some time need to "getter done".  The custom horse is a stablemate size model that measures 3" x 4 1/4" the dapples are approximate to the letter "O" on a quarter.  The custom has about  6 layers of pasteling & very thin layered acrylic in 3 steps, varying whites.

~Eli~ Getting Color*

~Eli is all primed up ready for coat color.  Recently did a poll on FaceBook Studio of what color would suite Eli = some said dapple grey in varying shades, chestnut with chrome, & a couple of odd color's I never heard of before. lol.  One color drew quite a bit off attention, Gulastra Plume, after a load of information from the FaceBook hobby family I found the color intriguing enough to give it a try :)

~Eli is offered unpainted till I am able to start painting 2/27/12
