A New Pony

A new kids Quarter Pony Custom Sculpture inspired from my Son's 4-H group, these ponies love their little riders.

The victim (model horse)

Reference Photo for pose.  Thank You Jennifer* please visit Jennifer~

Finished re-sculpt ready for paint.

The other finished side

 The carnage begins

Drill holes to insert sturdy wire.

Roughing out the surface where work is to be performed.  Easier for apoxies and glue mixtures to stick without separation.

The two ends attached with super glue, baking soda, and sturdy coated wire.

Find the correct position before you start adding more baking soda and glue to seal the deal.

Plastic dust!! wear your protection, eye goggles, breathing mask & gloves!!

Old muscling removed.  Surface roughed up/ scored.

The sculpt fill, some supplies used.

Was not happy with first apoxy application.

Sanded down to re-start

:) happy moment*
